Committed to excellence, my client is now looking to expand their team. Seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead sales initiatives in the civil sector.
Job Description:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding my clients market presence. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will be a strategic sales hunter with a focus on the civil sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities, leveraging your deep understanding of Earthmoving Equipment. Your keen market analysis will identify trends, client needs, and potential opportunities, providing valuable insights to the National Sales Manager.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients will be crucial, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and uncovering opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will be the face of the company, delivering compelling sales presentations tailored to each client's unique requirements.
Working collaboratively with the sales support team, you will develop comprehensive proposals and quotes, steering negotiations to secure profitable contracts. Your role involves meticulous sales reporting, maintaining accurate records, and regularly updating the National Sales Manager on your progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the earth-moving equipment industry.
- Solid understanding of earth moving equipment such as Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Graders, Rollers, Skid Steers, and Articulated Dump Trucks.
- Previous experience in civil sector sales is essential.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Competitive base salary of $120k - $130k (Dependent on experience) plus superannuation.
