The expansion of Ampcontrol services in Western Australia supports the new company vision to lead the global energy revolution. Ampcontrol is focused on diversifying and growing the business with a key focus on renewable energy manufacturing and supporting our customers in decarbonisation and mine site electrification.
Our strategic plans for growth and expansion means that we are now looking for a motivated and influential Business Development Managerto join our Kewdale team and drive the growth of our Electrification Solutions within the WA mining sector.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers, maintaining extensive knowledge of market conditions across WA, and capitalising on opportunities to expand market share.
Please note that regular travel to other Ampcontrol and customer sites / regions will be a requirement of this role.
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience selling ongoing services, products, and solutions within the Electrical Manufacturing sector supporting the Mining industry.
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business or Electrical Engineering (Desirable).
- A current full Australian Driver's Licence.
- An existing network within the Australian renewables and/or mining sectors.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Prior experience working in a role involving performance indicators, sales targets, and reports.
- A strong service orientation with high levels of initiative.
- Ability to work interstate and intrastate as required.
