Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic business plans that drive growth and profitability
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies and identify potential opportunities
- Sales and Negotiation: Lead sales efforts, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing deals
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on performance metrics, ensuring targets and KPIs are met
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Business Development, sales, or a related role within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry, including current trends and market dynamics
