Job Description:
Grow with us! We are currently seeking a proactive, sales and people orientated Business Development Manager to join our team in Australia. The work from home option is available for the right candidate.
The chosen candidate, reporting directly to the Managing Director, will undertake the pivotal role of identifying fresh business prospects, fostering connections with prospective clientele, and skillfully negotiating agreements to enhance revenue (margin) for the DAAU products. This position entails contributing to the formulation and execution of strategies aimed at amplifying DAAU’s customer outreach and bolstering its market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and existing business opportunities directly within the region/Australia.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients.
- Lead the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and finalization, ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation phase.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and build valuable partnerships.
- Provide regular updates to management and the sales team on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven track record of success in a Business Development Management capacity, preferably within the mining and quarry industry.
- Exceptional proficiency in verbal and written communication, facilitating impactful interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and pursue new avenues for business expansion.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Aptitude for adaptability and continuous learning to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Ability to provide support and be part of a team
- Attention to detail and a capacity to handle numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Knowledge of Conveyor Belt desirable.
