Business Development Manager - Mining Services

positive change in the mining sector. We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding our footprint and establishing lasting relationships with resource companies initially in Australia and in other markets.
Responsibilities
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
- Identify and target potential clients in the resource sector.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within resource companies in Australia.
Market Research and Analysis
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify business opportunities and challenges in the region.
Technical Understanding
- Utilize your strong technical background to understand and effectively communicate the needs of our clients in the resources sector.
Proposal Development
- Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling and tailored proposals.
- Prepare comprehensive and compelling proposals that cover all aspects of the client’s situation, with recommendations for the corrective actions required and the costs involved
- Present and articulate to clients in a clear and convincing manner the nature and importance of the problems they face and the comprehensive technical solutions we offer.
Negotiation and Contract Closure
- Lead negotiations to secure contracts and agreements that align with company objectives.
Achieving Sales Targets
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, contributing to the company's overall growth and success.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in Business Development within the mining services sector, specifically dealing with resource companies in Western Australia.
- Strong technical background with the ability to comprehend and discuss technical aspects of our services.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to travel to and conduct technical audits on Client’s sites throughout Australia.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development for mining services.
- Established network and relationships with key players in the resource industry in Western Australia.
