Business Development Manager - Mining Services

positive change in the mining sector. We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding our footprint and establishing lasting relationships with resource companies initially in Australia and in other markets.

Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

Client Acquisition and Relationship Building

• Identify and target potential clients in the resource sector.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within resource companies in Australia.

Market Research and Analysis

• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Conduct thorough analysis to identify business opportunities and challenges in the region.

Technical Understanding

• Utilize your strong technical background to understand and effectively communicate the needs of our clients in the resources sector.

Proposal Development

• Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling and tailored proposals.
• Prepare comprehensive and compelling proposals that cover all aspects of the client’s situation, with recommendations for the corrective actions required and the costs involved
• Present and articulate  to clients in a clear and convincing manner the nature and importance of the problems they face and the comprehensive technical solutions we offer.

Negotiation and Contract Closure

•  Lead negotiations to secure contracts and agreements that align with company objectives.

Achieving Sales Targets

• Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, contributing to the company's overall growth and success.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Business Development within the mining services sector, specifically dealing with resource companies in Western Australia.
• Strong technical background with the ability to comprehend and discuss technical aspects of our services.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to travel to and conduct technical audits on Client’s sites throughout Australia.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development for mining services.
• Established network and relationships with key players in the resource industry in Western Australia.
