The role

As part of the HelloFresh ANZ Group, Youfoodz is the innovative fresh meal company creating freedom through products that customers trust! Our success comes from knowing the emerging market trends, understanding and listening to our customers and then taking this knowledge and adding some Youfoodz flavour!

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for delivering territory budgeted sales revenue. This channel includes P&C, Independent Grocery, Health and non-traditional retail channels. In addition to growing our existing customers, you will be responsible for winning and on-boarding new businesses.

What you’ll do

• Achieve revenue, margin and contribution targets for your territory
• Achieve monthly key metrics for your territory including (but not limited to) distribution / NPD and instore visibility metrics
• Build campaigns and promotions with key territory based MSO customers, aligning our internal campaigns with key customer groups.
• Canvas new business opportunities of scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of all work including Sales Leadership team, Marketing and LOGS.
• Drive brand & culture consistency across all touch points.
• Analysis of results and insights to improve overall strategy for your territory/region
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
• Always challenge the status quo & innovate

What you’ll bring

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or like field desirable
• Current AU drivers’ license


Experience

Essential:
• 4 years’ experience in FMCG Business Development
• Track record in developing, pitching and WINNING new business

• Strong leadership skills
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and problem solving ability

• Ability to partner with stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen
• High levels of resilience, professionalism and work ethic
• Approachable, energetic and flexible in approach

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand.
