We are looking for a highly motivated and self driven individual to fill the role of Business Development Manager.
This position would be suited to someone with experience in a hotel sales role, a passion for sales and driving new business, understanding of account management and consortia programs as well as a friendly and outgoing personality.
In this role your key objectives and responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining sales activities for assigned account base to continually generate revenue across our portfolio of Hotels
- Prospect for new business via tools available, telemarketing and face to face meetings
- Draft and review contracts and RFP’s
- Host familiarisations and site inspections
- Meet minimum sales calls/appointment targets weekly
- Proactively source leisure group business for the DOMA hotels portfolio
- Represent and promote Doma Hotels through trade shows and industry events
- Develop strong relationships with assigned account base, key decision makers and stake holders
We are looking for someone with:
- Ability to manage a diverse client base and build and maintain professional relationships
- Works well within a team
- Strong understanding of Hotel consortia programs, RFPs and related systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as effective time management skills with the ability to priortise, multi task and meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation & follow up skills
- Have an in-depth knowledge of business products, the local market and competitors
- Flexibility to travel interstate if required
