Your new Role - Business Development Manager
Your primary focus as BDM will be identifying and converting new sales opportunities - by unearthing new clients within a wide range of target industries, as well as unlocking opportunities within our existing portfolio of clients. You'll be supported by an experienced and dynamic team, with a professional and friendly culture. You'll likely spend about 2 days per week in the office and 3 days on the road. A typical week might include:
- Executing planned sales activities, identifying and converting opportunities to support new clients
- Contacting and reactivating inactive clients from internal database
- Providing proposals and schedules of rates to prospects (training provided)
- Conducting visits to new clients and presenting our services
- Onboarding new clients and facilitating follow-on visits for safety assessments and other purposes
- Following up on all new client inquiries
- Recording all activities in our CRM (FastTrack) and setting follow-up activities as needed
- Attending networking activities on occasion

- Proven experience in a similar role OR
- Proven sales experience within another industry AND at least 2 years experience as a Recruitment Consultant
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a professional communication style (verbal and written)
- A genuine and engaging personality
- Demonstrated tenacity and resilience
- A positive, team-focused attitude, combined with a commitment to exceeding expectations
- Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Current Australian driver's license
