The Opportunity
We are looking for a National Business Development Manager with a passion for the hotel industry to step into this newly created role.  With a focus on developing relationships, we are looking for a go getter who thrives in Business Development within the hotel industry.
You must be an active listener and conversationalist, with a passion for building sales opportunities for our Company. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders is a must. 
You will be reporting to and working closely with the CEO, with a laser focus on growing the company. This is a national role with regular interstate travel required.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Business development and client engagement
  • Prospecting and acquiring new opportunities to expand an already significant pipeline
  • Active on social media engagement to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Managing the CRM database
  • Managing all tenders
  • Facilitating client meetings

About you:
  • You have a background that includes a minimum of 5 years working in hotel operations for a major brand.
  • You have front-line Customer Service experience in a role such as Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or Hotel Operations Manager.
  • You have strong Business and Commercial Acumen.
  • You demonstrable self-motivation and have a sales-oriented mindset, coupled with dedication to fostering mutually beneficial relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • You exhibit a passion for sales, supported by excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • You are naturally personable and professional in your demeanour.
  • You have housekeeping experience or experience working with an Outsourced Housekeeping provider.
  • You are results-driven with a history of achieving KPIs and targets.
  • You show careful attention to detail and have strong planning skills.
  • You will have a flexible approach to the position and a “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • You are tech savvy – We are a paperless organisation that embraces technology and are early adopters of anything new! (but we also still use Excel)
