Job Description:
Grow with us! We are currently seeking a proactive, sales and people orientated Business Development Manager to join our team in Australia. The work from home option is available for the right candidate.
The chosen candidate, reporting directly to the Managing Director, will undertake the pivotal role of identifying fresh business prospects, fostering connections with prospective clientele, and skillfully negotiating agreements to enhance revenue (margin) for the DAAU products. This position entails contributing to the formulation and execution of strategies aimed at amplifying DAAU’s customer outreach and bolstering its market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and assess new business opportunities.
- Cultivate and nurture meaningful relationships with prospective clients.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of consumer needs and barriers to effectively articulate the advantages of the company's offerings.
- Lead the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and finalization, ensuring a seamless transition to the implementation phase.
- Remain abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to pinpoint strategic growth prospects.
- Serve as a representative of the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to bolster brand visibility and foster valuable partnerships.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven track record of success in a Business Development Management capacity, preferably within the mining and quarry industry.
- Exceptional proficiency in verbal and written communication, facilitating impactful interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and pursue new avenues for business expansion.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Aptitude for adaptability and continuous learning to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Ability to provide support and be part of a team
- Attention to detail and a capacity to handle numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Knowledge of Conveyor Belt desirable.
