The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, this role has a strong focus on new Business Development, along with growing and managing existing accounts. You’ll love getting out there to hunt for growth opportunities, developing and maintaining strong relationships, promoting the product range, and educating/providing solutions utilising your technical/mechanical product knowledge. Achieve targets and reap the commissions and rewards! A thorough induction and training program in Melbourne will be provided, and you will have the ongoing support from a small family-run collaborative team, as well as the opportunity to work within a supportive business that invests in its people and encourages work/life balance.
About You
- A technically/mechanically minded, passionate sales professional able to sell on value
- Skilled and motivated to be a top BDM in direct B2B and distribution sales
- Energetic, positive attitude, results driven, and takes responsibility to work independently
- Proven ability to consultatively sell and achieve successful growth of market share
- Effective in all forms of communication and in developing robust relationships
- Strong attention to detail when creating proposals, reporting and maintaining accurate records and CRM input
- Hands on team player with a flexible approach and a work ethic of honesty and integrity
- Highly focused, self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Able to travel interstate
Background in Quarry/Mining and experience in capital equipment sales would be highly regarded but not essential.
