The Opportunity: We are on the lookout for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to join the Scanline team. While you will be a part of Scanline, your role will be integral to the broader objectives and strategies of Cleanaway. This role is a perfect fit for someone who is excited about making a tangible impact in the waste management and recycling industry, leveraging the combined strengths and resources of Scanline and Cleanaway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a robust Sales Pipeline to meet agreed Sales Budgets.
- Regularly report on market intelligence, competitor activity, and prepare responses to Tenders.
- Take ownership of sales systems, particularly our CRM, ensuring up-to-date and efficient customer contract management.
- Adhere to discount authorizations and market rates while achieving sales revenue targets and KPIs.
- Actively manage customer relationships to expand Scanline’s market share and revenue.
- Collaborate with Cleanaway’s Business Development Team to enhance Used Cooking Oil Collections and Total Waste Management Solutions.
- Contribute to strategic business growth and development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the liquid waste, recycling, or hospitality industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools, with a valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated success in Business Development and sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
