Due to our continual success and growth in the Solultions team, Endress+Hauser Australia have an exciting role available for a Business Development Manager, ideally this role will be located in one of our offices on the East Coast of Australia.
The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Solutons business. The BDM is a dynamic and self motivated person who has a proven track record of bulding and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers as well as staying abreast of industry trends and business opportunties.
Role + Responsibilities
- Act as business driver for the Solutions business
- Promote and close Solutions business opportunties personally or in conjunction with sales team
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure successful execution of Solutions business
- Visit customer sites with sales team where necessary or as required
- Responsible for the creation of Solutions proposals, together with Solutions Application Specialists
- Develop capabilties of Sales Engineers in the Solutions portfolio and provide training where necessary
- Reviewing customer database (SFDC), in particular top customers and identify Solutions opportuntiies
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Analyse data to identify key market segments and potential business opportunities
- Have the ability to translate acquisition ability across various industries
- Previous sales experience and/or experience in similar BDD role, preferably within Solutions team
- Strong technical background in instrumentation, control systems and process plants
- Degree qualified
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in collaborating with other departments
- Sound communication and networking skills
- Resourceful and capable of working within tight deadlines
- Good presentation skills
- Experience with CRM, ideally Salesforce.com (SFDC)
- To be able to take a strategic and planned approached to acquisition
