Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor level) in a business-related discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in a senior sales role within the industrial sector (mining, quarrying, construction and infrastructure), preferably within the Queensland market.
- Demonstrable ability to achieve sales targets and drive long term business objectives through strategic thinking, strong forecasting, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to utilise established business networks of key account contacts, decision makers (technical and commercial), distributors, industry bodies, regulators and key opinion leaders in mining, quarrying, construction, and infrastructure segments.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Achieve sales objectives including sales growth, increase market share, achieving budget targets and profit objectives. This role will primarily be focused on BDM utilising their extensive business network to achieve these sales goals.
- Establish a clear concise business plan to convert key accounts in mining, quarrying, construction and infrastructure opportunities that exist in the Queensland market, matching the capabilities of the CleanSpace Technology products to each opportunity.
- Analyse key accounts, distributors, industry bodies and regulators to identify key stakeholders, key opinion leaders and decision makers to build strong relationships and networks to benefit the sale of CleanSpace products.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Solutions and R&D to provide CleanSpace solutions as part of your sales strategy.
- Travel will be primarily within Queensland. There may be some minimal interstate travel as well, depending upon business requirements.
