Business Development Manager - Water Treatment

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Water Treatment industry, with a proven track record in sales and Business Development. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building, and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for their company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic Business Development plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Water Treatment sector, including industrial, municipal, and commercial markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of turnkey Water Treatment projects.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, showcasing our products and services.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our brand.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development or sales within the Water Treatment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Water Treatment systems, products, and technologies, including piping, pumps, and filtration equipment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
