Your new role
Working as a Business Development Underwriter you will be;
Responsible for the delivery of market awareness of Commercial Lines product suite and capability.
Building and maintaining strategic relationships with the intermediary market.
In charge of delivery of individual leads and generating new business in accordance with set targets.
Supporting the Head of Business Development and Marketing in planning and overseeing the delivery of marketing initiatives in line with company strategy and in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team.
Underwriting risks within your underwriting authority.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have;
Minimum 5 years experience as a Broker, Underwriter or BDM preferably within an agency
Competent knowledge of commercial classes (Liability and PI preferred but not necessary)
A strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work be market-facing
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
