About the role
The Business Intelligence Analyst will apply high level subject matter expertise to designing and developing dashboards and visualisations for internal customers providing insights to the highest quality and in an efficient manner. Solve business problems and uncover actionable insights by applying analysis techniques, data mining and modelling.
Work closely with Senior Leaders, Business Stakeholders, and the Group Reporting, to provide specialist advice related to Business Intelligence solutions. Lead the design and support the delivery and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions across the team and provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
Work closely with Business Intelligence Engineers to develop solutions based on business aligned data architecture that is transparent and delivers on business requirements.
About you
You will have experience in a role focused on Business Intelligence / Reporting / Analytics / or equivalent.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in developing data models and data visualisations using Business Intelligence software such as Power BI.
- Demonstrated database query experience such as SQL Server and Oracle.
- Ability to adapt analytical insight to effectively communicate findings appropriate for the audience.
- Outcome driven, with a persistent focus on leveraging technology to drive customer and business value.
- Creative problem solver, with the ability to think strategically and be able to drive innovation and collaboration.
- Strong listening, communication, written and presentation skills.
