You will support critical programs of work by designing and implementing solutions for business-driven initiatives and technology uplift.See yourself in our teamAs part of the wider Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting team, you will be part of the driven Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) Finance Business Reporting Team where we are responsible for managing all client and product reporting for the IB&M business. This will include combining Data Governance, Analytics & Product knowledge to support our stakeholders.In this roleAs an Analyst, you will be supporting the team in driving key reporting and technology deliverables. Here, you will develop a strong understanding of IB&M lines of business where you will be integral in enabling the team to continue adding value to the business and assisting in the delivery. You will be providing high quality, commercial, accurate and timely analytics with a focus on adding value by improving capacity by streamlining existing reporting requirements. This will also include testing impacts of new projects whilst ensuring information is easily shared/linked to other MI systems.Your responsibilities will also includeAssisting and delivering accurate insights and reporting to our stakeholders including the month end processesConsolidating the monthly customer metrics for the IB&M businessesAssisting in building the infrastructure required to support dynamic reportingDeveloping and maintaining dashboards for use with Finance and across the GroupDeveloping and improving the format, structure, and content of management informationProviding timely responses to ad-hoc business and IB&M Finance queriesPartnering with the wider the finance team to implement best practice solutionsEnsuring data streams are properly controlled and linked to other reporting areasWorking closely with SUDO on delivery of data and enhancement of data systemsWe’re interested in hearing from people who haveProven experience within Banking and Financial Services or accounting firm is highly desirableHighly proficient skills in SQL, ETL and Visualisation tools such as TableauExcellent written and spoken communications skills with strong influencing and interpersonal abilitiesStrong attention to detailProactive and driven self-starter capability who can take a short brief and action it safelyKnowledge and experience with Alteryx or other BI toolsTertiary qualifications in commerce or other business-related degree will be well regardedWorking with usWe support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in our Sydney office.We also have many other flexible working options available including changing start and finish times, part-time arrangements and job share to name a few.
