Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role 

As Luna Park Sydney expands its offering of unique experiences and attractions to our guests, this newly created role will be critical in gathering, analysing and presenting business data to support strategic decision making and measure performance. We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence and Data Analyst who is keen to make this role their own. What you’ll get to do

• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards using Power BI from multiple data sources including ticketing, ecommerce and POS, to facilitate data driven decision making 
• Working closely with Finance, Marketing, IT, Sales, and Operations teams, you will develop a holistic view of the business, identify trends and share business insights 

About you 

• Experience in a similar Data Analyst position 
• FMCG, Consumer Goods, Hospitality industry experience will be highly regarded 
• You must be a Power BI Master 
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field 
• Confident skills using DAX and SQL and Power Query are essential 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
• Creative and open to exploring new ways to model data and insights across the business 
• Innate analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to ask the ‘right questions’ to provide interpretation of the data 
• Self-confidence to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
