Business Manager (528009)

The role:

The Business Manager will:

• Provide strategic business expertise and advice to the Chief Executive Hospitals, Clinical Executive Director - Statewide Mental Health Services and senior operational staff, including staff from areas delivering services directly to patients and areas providing support services (i.e. supply).
• Oversee the business requirements of the operational area(s), including budget and financial management, to support the effective use of allocated resources.
• Develop and prepare integrated business reports for the operational area(s) that include financial, human resource and activity information.
• Build effective collaborative working relationships, with a particular focus on the relevant operational area(s) and stakeholders.
• Undertake procurement activities, including contract management and support capital planning and management on behalf of the operational area(s).

The Finance and Business Support team:

• This position is part of Finance and Business Support and this role provides support the Deputy Secretary Hospitals and Primary Care, and the projects within this directorate.
• The Department is part of the CPA Recognised Employer Program and Finance and Business Support has a focus on ongoing professional and career development.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $104,756 - $118,730 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
