As the Business Manager – Occupational Health, you will be primarily responsible for managing operations, customer accounts, staff, and financial performance. This position is offered on a permanent basis with an attractive salary and additional benefits attached to the role.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Occupational health – conduct high quality medical assessments, including pre-employment screenings, audiometry, spirometry, musculoskeletal, drug and alcohol testing.
- Account management – Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers, identify new opportunities through business development activities.
- Staff management - Manage, guide and support employees. Manage employee rosters, approve timesheets, coordinate onsite jobs, and conduct performance reviews.
- Supervise bookings and ensure all customers receive their results accurately and within a timely manner.
- Development and implementation of work procedures and processes.
- Work closely with the management team to promote continuous improvement initiatives, strategies, and business goals.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations regarding medical records and confidentiality is always maintained.
- Review and approve weekly invoices, supplier payments and reports.
- Work closely with the accounts department to review weekly, monthly reports, and oversee finances.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:
- Qualifications - Occupational Hygiene, Bachelor of Nursing (Registered Nurse and AHPRA accredited),
- Experience managing, supporting, and leading a collaborative team.
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability and willingness to manage a balance of office and on occasions some site-based work where required.
- A confident user of the Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A current WA C class driver's licence.
