Business Manager
St Philip’s Christian College Gosford is a co-educational ELC-12 Christian School scenically located near Gosford, NSW. The College is part of the St Philip’s Christian Education Foundation and seeks to grow and equip students for the whole of life.
The College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the Executive Leadership Team of the College for the position of Business Manager. The successful applicant will report to and work closely with the College Principal and the SPCEF Chief Financial Officer as well as collaborating with peers in other Colleges across the group and in the SPCEF Central Office. The Business Manager is primarily responsible for effective business activities of the College.
Key requirements for the position include:
- Committed Christian who is actively involved in their local evangelical Christian church.
- Qualifications in Accounting or other related and relevant fields.
- High level understanding of the critical elements of creating and maintaining financially sustainable management practices in Accounting or other related and relevant fields.
- Ability to lead, manage and develop staff.
- Ability to initiate, lead and manage change.
- Demonstrated high-level administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Capacity to contribute to operational and strategic activities.
- Attends and participates in staff devotions and prayer meetings.
- Participates in professional development relating to the philosophy and practice of Christian Education.
- Current Working with Children Check.
