Job description Seeking a seasoned Business Manager with a heart for education, responsible for overseeing operations across three schools in Emerald, Queensland. The role: Oversee financial management and budgeting for three schools within the college. Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and procurement.
Collaborate with school leadership to align financial goals with educational objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team and contractors, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
Serve as a key liaison between the college administration, governing board, and external stakeholders. Experience required: Proven experience in financial management, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting processes, and financial reporting.
