About the Role
As the Health Safety & Environment Business Partner, you will play a vital role in championing safety initiatives and promoting a strong safety culture. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead efforts to drive awareness, compliance, and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
You will be responsible for:
- Fostering a safety culture by collaborating with site leaders to implement safety initiatives, conducting safety walks to drive behavioural change, and leading training sessions and health and safety inductions.
- Offering specialised expertise in workplace health and safety, partnering with leaders to co-create effective HSE risk management plans, and managing the HSE Committee while coordinating with the global HSE team.
- Driving robust safety governance by ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, developing, implementing, and monitoring procedures and policies, and managing injury and incident data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Actively reducing workplace injuries by managing incidents, facilitating return-to-work plans, and overseeing the implementation of the injury management program
To see you succeed you will be known as a team player with strong communication skills, flexible, willing to be involved, well-organized as well as competent in managing priorities and sharing knowledge. In addition, you will possess:
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Health & Safety/OHS
- Experience in HSE/OHS within the manufacturing, supply chain or warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
- Excellent partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Experience embedding safety systems and policies.
