The Opportunity
We have an opportunity available for a Business Performance and Reporting Analyst to join our AIA Financial Services team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Operations, you will collaborate to provide business reporting and operational support to our business. This opportunity will suit an experienced Analyst who is currently working within a Financial Advice team or broader financial services industry.
To do this successfully you will:
- Build and produce reports and dashboards using Alteryx and PowerBI to measure and report on AIA Financial Services Business Performance, identify trends, including insightful commentary as required
- Research, analyse, design and develop business specifications to achieve agreed business data and reporting deliverables
- Develop robust SQL and other data-driven code, data integration, automated processes and delivery solution
- Discover, validate, and interrogate new data sources to ensure accuracy and effective controls
- Manage workload to ensure deadlines are met and display superior time management skills in to handle contending priorities
- Raise and implement continued process improvements
- Experience working within Data and Visualisation, preferably within a Financial Advice practice or similar
- Undergraduate qualification in Data Science or related field
- Validated experience in data visualisation
- A sophisticated understanding and use of Alteryx, Excel, Power BI and Tableau
- A willingness to work to challenging timeframes with an emphasis on delivering high quality outcomes
- A high level of initiative and self-motivation
- The ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Experience utilising analytical skills to drive business improvement and solutions
- An inquisitive mind and passion about deriving insights from data
