Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Resiliency, the Business Resiliency Analyst is a key member of the Financial Crime, Privacy & Resilience Team within Group Risk.
The Business Resiliency Analyst will assist the Senior Manager, Business Resiliency to oversee business continuity management across AustralianSuper, including maintenance of the business continuity management data and artefacts contained within AustralianSuper business continuity management tool “Battleground”.
Some key responsibilities but not limited to;
- Oversee data updates to Battleground (a business continuity tool used by AustralianSuper contained business impact assessments and business continuity plans)
- Working with the business, BCM Champions and 1st line risk and the Process Mapping Team to identify processes relating to critical operations
- Perform a gap analysis between existing processes in Battleground and the processes relating to critical operations
- Working with the business, update Battleground based on the gap analysis
- Within Battleground indicate any linkage of the processes (critical or otherwise) to a critical operation ie: if the process is linked to a critical operation and if so, which one.
- Facilitate the business to determine the tolerance levels for processes related to critical operations
- Facilitate the business to identify controls to prevent a disruption to critical operations from occurring and if it does occur, assist in documenting any workarounds
- Facilitate the business to determine the tolerance levels for those processes
- Assist the Senior Manager Business Resiliency to update BCPs
- Assist the Senior Manager Business Resiliency to update the testing schedule for FY2025 and beyond
- Provide reporting on business continuity management for senior leadership and various Committees and Board.
What you’ll need
- 2 to 3 years experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of control design and operating effectiveness
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and investigative skills
- Strong consulting, influencing and negotiation skills
- Experience in building sound risk awareness amongst colleagues by providing ongoing support and training
- Demonstrated ability to respectfully challenge, deal with conflict and stand their ground where required
- Outstanding engagement skills that reflects a professional, collegiate and engaging approach
