What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Manager Compliance and Risk, this role will be responsible for:
- Supporting the VEC's Business Continuity Management program and related activities like conducting business impact analysis, documentation of business continuity plans and scenario based desktop exercises.
- Supporting the remediation, reporting and tracking of escallated issues or a crisis events.
- Coordinating continuity restoration efforts during any disruption events.
- Demonstrated BCM experience and a strong understanding of BCM, Issues and Crisis management and concepts
- Experience in undertaking BCP and Crisis management simulations and testing
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player, hands-on, and ability to work autonomously or within a small team.
- Achieve deliverables and activities within agreed timelines.
- Commitment to the VEC's core vales.
