We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in completing a Certificate III in Business. The successful applicant will complete this traineeship over 12-months while gaining on the job experience with a nationally recognised company.
Our host company is a specialist manufacturer and supplier of Polyethylene (PE) pipe systems and solutions for the transmission of data, water, gas, waste and energy. Renowned for its quality assured and modern manufacturing facilities, our host distributes PE pipe mainly in NSW but also Australia wide.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise with customers to meet or exceed their expectations
- Customise services to meet the needs of individual customers within established parameters
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information of customers and their requirements and maintain filing of documentation
- Effectively deal with telephone enquiries requesting quotations for products, compiling information on the desired products including prices
- Create quotations and ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary
- Process sales dockets and ensure all sales information is entered into data system
- Complete invoices and outstanding orders in a timely manner
- Liaise with Logistics Officer, Production and customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries and production
- Liaise on a daily basis with your colleagues and update them on any developments in your work, ensuring a high level of team relationships exist
- Ensure internal sales office facilities are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
- Assist with administrative tasks in other areas of the business (e.g. Quality, Accounts, Production, etc).
- Ensure personal competency in the operation of the Company’s computer system to enable access to customer information and input sales orders as required
- Comply with all relevant Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
- Follow all Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and work instructions, safe work method statements and risk assessments
- Identify and convey information to different audiences
- Perform other duties as directed by the Sales Manager
