This firm is also considering Assistant Manager's with 5+ years of public practice experience and 1+ years' experience managing a team of accountants (or assisting in this team management).
The salary package on offer for this opportunity is UP TO$150K + bonus, depending on experience.

Objectives of the Role:
The objective of this role is to utilize your extensive experience to manage and support a portfolio of premium clients. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the teams completion of their client’s tax compliance & advisory work, and to work alongside the Directors to build and nurture relationships with their existing and new clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and foster client relationships and be the first point of contact
- Lead of Pod of Accounting staff and build culture within the Pod
- Manage own workload and deadlines for clients
- Identifying potential issues or opportunities in day-to-day work and raising these with Directors
- Providing business advisory services and advice as required by clients
- Liaising directly with clients
- Reviewing work of accountants
- Training and mentoring of accountants
- Assisting the team with the completing of tasks or work assignments as necessary to ensure client service requirements are met
- Assist Directors with completion of special assignments or projects as requested
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of Business Services (public practice) accounting experience
- Experience as ideally as a Manager of an Accounting Team, Senior Accountant, Client Manager or Assistant Manager (open to discussion)
- Preparation of FS' & ITRs' for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts.
- Preparing FBT returns, preparing BASs & IASs
- Team management and managing a portfolio of clients
- Client facing experience and comfortability
- Highly detail oriented and organized
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with different levels of employees in a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills
Qualifications:
- CPA / CA qualified
- Accounting degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
