The Business Support Officer is part of the Dhurringile Prison Industries team. H.M. Prison Dhurringile is a minimum-security prison for men, with a focus on preparing offenders for their release back into the community.
About the Role:
The Business Support Officer works within a team environment to optimise the opportunities for prisoners to enhance their life skills and personal development through all aspects of the day-to-day routines, services and programs conducted in the facilities.
The role includes implementing best-practice financial processes and detailed industry analysis, monitoring and reporting advice to the Industry Manager.
Some of your duties will include:
- Providing high level administrative support to the Prison Industries business unit.
- Providing a broad range of office management and administrative functions by monitoring workflows and effectively operating in a busy environment supporting the Prison Industries business unit.
- Coordinating the Industries Management team diary, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements based on an ongoing assessment of priorities.
About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will possess:
- An understanding of working within a correctional facility
- Demonstrated experience in administration
