Operating from Moonee Ponds this organisation is currently seeking a Business Support Officer to join their Team in a full-time capacity. The objectives of this position are well-defined but the particular method, process or equipment to be used must be selected from a range of available alternatives. Guidance and advice will be available within the time available to make a choice.
This organisation also supports the development of a rapidly developing and emerging creative and arts community and to provide points of access, participation and connection for the broader community by providing relevant and diverse arts experiences.
Your new role
The Business Support Officer's primary role is to positively contribute to the operational success of the department, through the provision of efficient and effective administration and customer service support to all internal and external stakeholders. You will also be required to:
Undertake general administration support duties and assist with preparation and completion of reports, correspondence.
Provide prompt and efficient customer service to internal and external customers in a timely and efficient manner including responding to technical enquiries in accordance with established processes and procedures.
Provide a positive personal contribution and participate in the development of the unit enabling the successful operation of the department.
Carry out other duties commensurate with skills and abilities as deemed reasonable and appropriate to the role as directed from time to time.
Risk Management - Accountable for the implementation and maintenance of sound risk management within the areas of responsibility and in accordance with the Risk Management Policy. Create an environment where managing risk is accepted as the personal responsibility of each employee.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in obtaining this opportunity, you will have a willingness to learn, a proven work ethic and experience as an Administrator. You will also need:
Qualifications in Business Administration (Certificate level) and / or extensive experience in office administration functions.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications and software adaptability.
Proven strong customer service experience with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and conflicting demands.

Monday - Friday, 5 days per week
9am-5pm
$34.79ph +Superannuation
