Business Support Officer - Project Delivery
- Salary Range Band 5 $76,848 - $88,969 plus 11% Super
- Full time Permanent position
- Located at St Kilda Town Hall with flexible working arrangements possible.

The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. About the Role
An exciting position has become available at the City of Port Phillip to support the Project Delivery department. The role will be responsible for providing high level administrative support for the Project Delivery team and to the Manager of Project Delivery.
This is a great opportunity for an organised and self-motivated administrator to gain experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Working closely with officers the successful applicant will be a key member of the department helping deliver on our commitments.
The successful applicant must be able to undertake competing tasks in a proactive and practical manner, apply their excellent administrative skills and deliver effective customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties:
- Deliver high level administrative support
- Assist with internal reporting and management of team procedures, to ensure efficient service delivery
- Have oversight and manage deadlines for customer requests, council papers and other items to ensure obligations are met.
- Work collaboratively with divisional BSO team to share and identify better practices and as directed by Team Leader.
- Process invoices, purchase orders and credit card transactions.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and high regard for quality, consistency, and accuracy of written communications
- Experience in business administration with proficiencies in MS Office software, a variety of computer applications and the ability to pick up new software.
- OneCouncil systems knowledge desirable
- A customer-focused approach and demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Experience in problem solving, systems improvement, and demonstrated analytical skills.
