We are on the lookout for a personable and confident individual to join our team as our Receptionist/Business Support Officer. As the successful candidate, you will undertake diverse reception and Business Support responsibilities, gaining valuable experience in various administrative tasks within the construction industry.
The ideal candidate will possess an eye for detail and work with a sense of urgency. Your ability to be a proactive team player, approach all tasks with enthusiasm, and take ownership of your responsibilities will be highly valued.

The role -
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Handling incoming calls, and greeting visitors (including preparing tea/coffee)
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and arranging for couriers
- Managing shared mailboxes and actioning accordingly
- Maintaining and ensuring general areas are presentable at all times
- Maintaining Office Supplies (stationary & staff amenities)
- Housekeeping duties (stack/unstack dishwasher, stock fridges and bathroom essentials etc)
- Maintain meeting room bookings and prepare paperwork accordingly
- Photocopying, scanning and filing
- Assisting accounts payable (matching dockets to invoices, uploading invoices to accounting system, following up account queries etc)
- Maintaining various registers (Excel based)
- Facilitate new vendor registrations
- Set up new project folders (both paper and electronic)
- Support the Project Team at an administrative level
- General Administrative support
About you -
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A friendly, positive and helpful attitude
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- High level attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with MYOB AccountRight is not essential but is advantageous.
