About the role – Ongoing, Full Time
Business Systems Analyst
Band 5- $77,132.12 to $98,068.88 plus super and benefits
The ICT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for providing internal BAU support on Westernport Water Business Systems as well as acting as a technical resource on WPW business system projects in accordance with relevant corporation strategies, policies, environmental and statutory obligations.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Provide BAU support, troubleshooting, and administration for Westernport Water Business Systems.
- Manage onboarding/offboarding processes for employees and contractors at Westernport Water, including system inductions and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to address system issues per SLAs and expectations.
- Act as a technical resource and lead small to medium business system projects, aligned with organizational objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for system architecture and technical interfaces, offering guidance and support to SMEs.
- Design change management activities, develop training materials, and conduct training sessions for system functions and features.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qulifications or substantial experience in ICT or related field
- Proven track record in managing ICT projects within complex environments
- Familiarity with project management frameworks and methods
- Proficiency in mapping business processes and creating technical architecture diagrams
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and relationship management abilities
- Hold a valid driver's license suitable for Victoria

- Tertiary qualifications in ICT or related field
- Substantial experience in supporting ICT Business Systems, including system administration and software support..
- Proven track record in managing complex corporate ICT environments and delivering business system upgrade projects.
- Skilled in identifying deficiencies in existing systems, devising improvement plans, and implementing solutions.
- Strong time management, prioritisation, written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs.
