Business Systems & Improvements Manager

About the role
This is a permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday position working 35 hours per week. This position is located at the Nowra Administration Building.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

Duties
Reporting directly to the Manager Water Business Services, the focus of this position is to:

• Lead the development of Business Systems for Shoalhaven Water
• Support the implementation and ongoing development of corporate systems that relate to the Water Utility
• Continue the advancement and operations of the billing systems relating to the water and sewer fund.
• Lead the business support team in the delivery of key operational functions including customer liaison, delivery of contracted services and accounts payable.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

• Degree qualification/experience in a related discipline commensurate with the essential requirements of the position.
• At least 10 years’ experience in either Business Systems or accounting or business improvement. 
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to work in a busy team environment.
• High level of experience in managing diverse customer matters and proven ability in achieving positive outcomes in a timely manner.
• Class C Driver’s Licence.
• Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
