About the Position
The Training & ComplianceTeam Leader is responsible for the training and qualification compliance of all Active Monash staff. This position also coordinates training and development strategies and processes. The role will liaise with People & Safety and provide support to each department within Active Monash to ensure the correct recruitment and on-boarding procedures are followed for new staff members.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in the leisure industry
- High level conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Human Resource and Training and development policies and programs
- Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people
- Proven ability working in a team on complex projects Other
Requirements
- Employee Working with Children’s Check
- Level 2 First Aid with current CPR
- Safeguarding Children Certificate
- Satisfactory National Police Check; and
- Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
