About the Role:
As Transformation Program Manager, you'll report directly to the Head of People and Customer, steering the helm of the Team Melton workplace Transformation Program. Your role is pivotal, involving planning, executing, and ensuring sustained success across their core transformation pillars: Customer, People, Technology & Growth.

- Lead and cultivate a team of transformation subject matter experts, fostering innovation and excellence.
- Establish and maintain robust program governance, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organisational goals.
- Actively champion the enhancement of Melton City Council's workplace culture, embodying our values in every initiative.
- Drive the customer-centric focus at the core of our purpose, enabling success, and identifying areas for continual improvement.
- Build the foundational pillars of customer, people, technology, and growth, laying the groundwork for sustained excellence.
- Delivering the Team Melton transformation while valuing what already makes Melton strong.
- Roll out a new change management framework, focusing on engaging people, empowering leaders, building capability, and embedding new ways of working.
Skills That Make You Stand Out:
- Transformational Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading transformation functions, showcasing the ability to drive change and build collaborative cultures.
- Customer-Centric Focus: Proven track record of placing the customer at the center of initiatives and driving long-term sustainability through enhanced customer experiences.
- Program Governance: Strong skills in establishing and maintaining effective program governance, ensuring seamless execution, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Change Management Expertise: Proven expertise in change management, focusing on engaging employees, empowering leaders, and embedding new ways of working.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Capacity to navigate and adapt to the dynamic environment of a fast-growing municipality, showing resilience in the face of challenges.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline related to corporate and strategic transformations. Certifications in project management, change management, or customer experience are highly regarded.
