We are a small friendly crew looking for an enthusiastic Butcher / Smallgoods Person to join our team.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Boning 
• Slicing
• Sausage Production
• Smallgoods Production
• Daily Cleaning and Sanitisation
• Packing Orders
• Stock Rotation
• Providing daily and weekly reports to management
• Optimising performance and processes on the production lines to ensure compliance with the production plan
• Working with management to constantly seek and implement improvements to improve efficiency
• Consistently demonstrating behaviours which are aligned with the company’s Code of Conduct 
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Skills and experience

• Qualification in Meat Processing - Butchering / Boner / Slicer
• Previous experience working as a Boner or Slicer and experience in Butchering and Smallgoods
• Experience in HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene
• Ability to Maintain pace of Production
• Willing to fit into a team environment
• Willing to adapt to company procedures & policies
• Attention to detail 
• Sound technical knowledge of meat processing
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Have the Ability to work within a team or autonomously
• Strong work ethic with the capability to multi task
• Must be punctual with reliable transport
• Must be capable of early starts
• Must be Physically fit with the ability to work within a highly proactive team
• Ability to pass a ‘Drug and Alcohol’ screen
