ABOUT THE ROLE:
Position: Part Time Buyer Assistant
Location : Hendra, Brisbane QLD
Pay Rate: $55k-$60k annually
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Proven experience in Inventory Management or Data Entry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and data entry tasks
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and a proactive approach to issues.
Job Description:
- Assisting the Head Buyer with processing quotations and invoices; preparing sales reports and spreadsheets; organising sales promotions; analysing data to reorder products; distributing communications to stores and suppliers via email
- Data entry into Odoo ERP; invoicing and receipting goods; managing stock integrity and stock categories, ensuring correct information is accessible to assist sales
- Liaising with the Warehouse Manager/Head Buyer to ensure stock processing and delivery in a timely manner.
- Liaising with the Marketing Manager to organise catalogues, sales promotions, and in-store marketing campaigns
- Liaising with 21 brick-and-mortar stores to manage inventory and enquiries; liaising with e-store to ensure fulfilment of online orders
- Liaising and building rapport with external (local and international) suppliers; placing and confirming stock orders with correct documentation; arranging and confirming international freight documentation
- Maintaining up-to-date records of incoming shipments; arranging international payments; liaising with customs agents to ensure international container shipments arrive without issue or detainment at port
- Sample management; requesting samples, ensuring they scan, are accurately catalogued, and are distributed to the allocated store within a timely manner
- Providing customer service and reception duties to inbound calls, to field enquiries and complaints
