Our client is Australia's fastest growing online fashion retailer, designing the hottest new trends in the market. As the business continue to expand, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Buyers Assistant.
As a Buyers Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the head buyer across administrative and operational tasks including but are not limited to:
Assisting in researching products, suppliers, and market trends.
Managing and updating product catalogs and pricing information.
Processing purchase orders and tracking order status.
Coordinating with vendors and internal departments to resolve any issues related to orders, shipments, or inventory.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to purchasing activities.
Assisting in inventory management and stock replenishment efforts.
Providing general administrative support to the purchasing team as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 12 months experience in the retail industry.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
