Harvey Norman Commercial Project Division is seeking an enthusiastic & motivated Full Time Buyers Assistant for the busy Taren Point office. You will be primarily responsible for providing sound support to the Buyers team.

About the Role:
You will assist the buyer in selecting merchandise, placing orders, and distributing inventory. May be responsible for some inventory replenishment but without open to buy responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Vendor and pricing management
- Purchase order creation and management
- Liaise with sales team on forecasting and stock requirements
- Maintain set stock levels for multiple sites
- Communicate with suppliers regarding forecasting, back order/ETA information
- Manage new product set-up
- Maintain products on system; ensuring product information and status is up to date and accurate
- Liaise with senior staff and a variety of departments with stock and product enquiries
- Attend meetings; sales meetings, also select supplier meetings
- Generate credit claim requests with suppliers
- Point of sale ticketing for the showroom
- Any ad hoc duties as required including but not limited to using your skill set within another division/department.
Requirements:
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to resolve issues
- Intermediate computer skills
- Intermediate Excel skills required
