AddressZIMMERMANN has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Buyers Assistant to join our dynamic Retail Buying team. This is a full-time position based at our Head Office in Rosebery, NSW.
About the role:
Reporting to the Retail Buying Director and working closely alongside our Retail Buyers, you will assist with the administrative tasks across our seasonal collections, including Ready-to-Wear, Swim & Resort, and Footwear & Accessories globally. In this role, you will develop a collaborative partnership with cross-functioning teams as well as with our Global Retail network.
Broad areas of responsibility include:
- Performing retail sales analysis and reporting on a weekly and seasonal basis as well as maintaining global best-seller reports.
- Supporting our Buying & Planning team with seasonal Range Review preparation and reporting.
- Collating Product feedback from our Global Retail Store network on a weekly basis.
- Collaborating with our Production & Logistics teams to ensure best practices for timely deliveries across all markets.
- Assisting with Market analysis regularly through providing feedback on product and pricing strategies.
- Supporting general administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records and reports.
What you can bring to the role:
- At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Retail Industry.
- An eye for luxury products and commercial awareness
- Demonstrated experience with sales, stock management, and allocations.
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Experience with ERP systems such as AP21 is highly regarded.
- Has a strong work ethic, and can work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Is highly organised and can work to strict and often conflicting timelines.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
