Job Summary:
As mechanical Draftsperson, your projects will include high scale commercial steel, aluminium and speciality doors custom made to meet customer's needs. You will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings and models, implementing practical solutions, and ensuring design accuracy to meet project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models, 2D detailed technical drawings, and bills of materials in compliance with established standards, policies and procedures
- Develop layouts and detailed drawings based on project specifications
- Assist with design development by contributing ideas for practical solutions that meet project requirements
- Actively communicate with sales, management and production by providing updates
- Ensure deliverables meet relevant codes/standards and customer and regulatory authorities' needs
- Incorporate safety measures into designs
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical engineering, industrial design and hydraulics
- Proficiency in using Solidworks software
- Understanding of manufacturing environments and experience in designing solutions for doors, gates or similar would be highly advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft suite
