CAD Officer

• Paying $54.20ph + super
• 12 month assignment from commencement
• Parramatta, NSW location
• Working 35 hours per day, 7 hours per day

About the Role
Our client is the delivery powerhouse behind some of NSW’s most crucial projects. Their work is in the hospitals, dams, water treatment plants and high schools. They are now seeking a CAD to come in and assist them on a 12 month assignment from commencement.
Candidates for this position must be an experienced CAD Designer/Drafter/Engineer with considerable Dam project experience, coupled with extensive experience producing drawings on large Dam projects.
Key responsibilities and details of work will include:

• Full 12D modelling of the stripping and excavation design, inclusive of quantities
• Full 12D modelling of the proposed concrete dam structure design, inclusive of quantities
• Approximately 20 no. of 2D CAD drawings of dam design sections including details of the newly proposed intake structure
• Approximately 100 no. of 2D CAD drawings of the pumping station including details of all pipe and valve works
• 2D CAD drawings with civil and structural details for water retaining structures
• Approximately 100 no. of 2D Cad drawings for detail design / tender stage

Please note that you will work 35 hours per week, and 7 hours per day
About You
You will be an experienced CAD Officer with proven experience and reliability in previous positions
The successful candidate will possess:

• Experience in a similar role on Dam projects
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Ability to pass a police check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Engineering science and technology
