Position: Café and Restaurant Manager

Job Summary: The Café and Restaurant Manager overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, including managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences in a vibrant Cafe and Restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Restaurant Operation Management
a. Oversee all aspects of Cafe and Restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
b. Ensure the daily income is tally with the revenue report on daily basis
c. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficient workflow, quality control, and guest satisfaction.
d. Monitor daily activities, address issues promptly, and maintain a hands-on approach to management during peak service times.
2. Customer service Skills:
a. Ensure all guests receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service that exceeds their expectations.
b. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and proactively to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
c. Implement service standards and hospitality protocols to create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
3. Staff Supervision and Training:
a. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Cafe and Restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, cooks, and support staff.
b. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment and maximize team productivity.
c. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives.
4. Inventory and Cost Control
a. Oversee inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and optimal stock levels
b. Conduct regular inventory audits, monitor product quality, and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and shrinkage.
c. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
Qualification and skills:
· Proven experience as a Cafe or Restaurant Manager at least 3 years or 2 years experience with relevant diploma
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
· Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences.
· Knowledge of industry trends, food and beverage trends, and local market dynamics.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business demands.
