This position requires you to manage a café and Restaurant located in Hornsby, NSW.
We are currently seeking a seasoned, passionate Café and Restaurant Manager to join our team. This position requires a hands-on approach, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of quality and exceptional service while focusing on operating a profitable restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Chefs to plan and develop menus, taking into account factors such as seasonal availability and product quality.
- Planning, organizing, and executing special functions and events.
- Managing purchasing and pricing of goods while adhering to set budgets.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels and financial transactions.
- Ensuring that all dining facilities comply with health regulations, cleanliness standards, and present a welcoming appearance.
- Regularly conferring with customers to gauge their satisfaction with meals and service and using this feedback to implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Selecting, training, and supervising both waitstaff and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Overseeing reservations, warmly greeting guests, and assisting in taking orders when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cafe and Restaurant Manager or similar executive role.
