Welcome to Brew at 102! We're a vibrant cafe nestled in Junee, committed to delivering an unforgettable experience for our patrons. Under new ownership since 2021, our mission is centred around serving delectable food, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and delivering exceptional coffee.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team at Brew at 102. This part-time position (3-4 days a week) includes a rotating weekend roster. The ideal candidate will have culinary expertise, a flair for creativity, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to guarantee the health and safety of our patrons.
- Assist in menu planning, incorporating fresh and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen space.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a cafe or similar setting.
- Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a rotating weekend roster.
- Be available for 6am starts
- Hold current Food Handling Supervisors Certificate
