Nestled in the heart of Burleigh, David Fleay's Wildlife Park is surrounded by a native reserve, where you will be working alongside Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services. Why not check out the animals on your break?
We host spectacular weddings, private parties and corporate events which operates alongside our café. Be a part of the tranquil cafe during the day and the parties at night!

About the Role:
- Deliver and maintain exceptional service standards.
- Manages the day-to-day Cafe operations
- Manages the operational coordination of events including room set ups, table settings and bar set ups etc
- Work closely with the Events team to prepare for events taking place at the Café (wedding, birthday celebrations, private events etc).
- Able to perform basic cookery for a family friendly menu front and back of house if required
- Conduct opening and closing procedures
- Ensures all staff are well briefed on their responsibilities and are given supervision and motivation on all aspects of their work.
- Liaise & work alongside with the Fleays Sales team ensure all event standards and procedures are followed.
About You:
- You are hardworking and have a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Extensive Barista Experience.
- An ability to drive service standards.
- A solid understanding of inventory, stock control & cost of goods.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated.
- Highly organised
- Displays professional behaviour and integrity.
- Willingness to multitask.
- You are a hands-on person that leads by example.
- You have a good understanding of the hospitality industry with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a café or restaurant background.
- Current RSA
- Current RMLV & QLD Approved Managers Licence
- Current Australian Driver’s License.
