We are looking for a Cafe Lover/manager to organise daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service and great food and drinks quality.
Cafe Manager responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Oversee daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth service & exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage a team of baristas and wait staff, providing training, guidance, support & rostering.
- Plan and execute promotions and events to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
- Handle social media accounts, creating engaging content and interacting with customers online.
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders & manage supplier relationships.
- Ensuring the customer focused service is maintained by all the employees.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Work with kitchen staff & director to gain strong understanding of the menu, create the special menu, marketing tends, costing and profit margins.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train and inspire a team, demonstrated ability to lead by example.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for coffee, food & dedication to delivering high quality products and service.
- Full time including weekends, public holidays, early openings and closings.
- Able to work calmly in high pressure situations.
- Organisational skills with the ability to run promotions & manage social media accounts.
- Must possess the ability to create latte art.
