We are on the hunt for an energetic & enthusiastic Cafe Manager…

Ground Up Espresso has a rich decade long history in the heart of the Toowoomba CBD. We are looking for a passionate leader to lift the team to new heights, and provide our lovely customers and community with the best service we can offer.

If you are someone that prides themselves on each coffee or meal they serve, the connections you have with people, and passing on your knowledge to the rest of the team, then this may be the opportunity for you.

Your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversee daily operations
• Deliver and promote outstanding customer service
• Rostering and staff management
• Stock ordering and control

You will:

• Have experience in a similar role
• Have exceptional leadership skills
• Be professional and well presented
• Pay attention to detail and ensure a spotless restaurant
• Enjoy working as part of a team and have effective problem solving skills
• Experience in a fast paced environment
• The ability to motivate and get the best out of their team

We will:

• Provide you the support and resources to work confidently and effectively

• Training in any areas of the cafe that may be applicable

Ideally the right candidate would have;

• minimum 2 years experience in a management role of some kind
• proven experience as a barista and waiter
• a good knowledge of food service
• an idea of how to balance the weekly and monthly budgeting
